The tranquil location allowed us to unwind, yet we were just a short 15-minute stroll from the vibrant Ubud centre, making it the perfect balance between relaxation and adventure. We thoroughly enjoyed the breathtaking view from our room, right by the outdoor swimming pool, where a refreshing dip was the perfect antidote to the midday heat. The hospitality truly stood out, with every member of the staff going out of their way to ensure we felt at home, while the delicious breakfast, featuring the best banana pancakes, was the cherry on top of each morning. With air conditioning that provided a welcome respite from the tropical weather and unbeatable value for such amenities, I can confidently say that Pondok Bambu is a hidden gem that I would happily return to on my next visit to Ubud.
